TRAVEL LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) – Days Weekly Pay: $2,245.00

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) for a day-shift assignment at an acute hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Shift: Days, 5x8 (08:30 – 17:00)

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Floating: Yes (within scope to meet facility needs)

• Setting: Inpatient Case Management Social Work (consult-based service)

Role Overview:

Care Management Social Work provides psychosocial and emotional support to patients and families. Social Work is a consult-based service. Clinicians complete psychosocial assessments, identify appropriate discharge plans aligned with policy and regulations, provide brief clinical interventions, assist with resource navigation and coordination of care, screen for suicidality and engage in safety planning as appropriate, complete appropriate reports of harm based on state statutes, and coordinate with outside entities. Social Work is split into Emergency Department, Children’s, and Adult teams. Clinicians work closely with RN Case Managers and the care team to coordinate and carry out safe and ethical discharge plans.

Compensation:

• W2: $15.00/hr

• Weekly Stipend: $1,645.00

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,245.00

• HARD STOP: Acute care hospital social work experience is required (candidates missing this must be redirected)

• License: Alaska LMSW or Alaska LCSW accepted (pending Alaska license accepted)

• Experience: 2 years of experience noted as preferred minimum; job overview lists years of experience as 1

• Schedule: Must be able to work 5x8 days (08:30–17:00) and weekends every other weekend as needed

• Locals: Not accepted (permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility)

• RTO: All requested time off must be included at the time of submission

• References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years
