TRAVEL CVOR Tech – 3x12 Nights – $2,377 Weekly

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CVOR) for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room setting in Columbus, Ohio.

Shift:

3x12 Nights (18:30–07:00)

Must be flexible

Call required

Weekend coverage as needed

No 10-hour shifts

No block scheduling

This is a CVOR environment supporting complex cardiac and vascular procedures. The tech will scrub and assist during cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular cases. Heavy focus on advanced cardiac procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs, and ventricular assist device procedures.

Responsibilities:

Scrub cardiovascular and vascular procedures

Maintain sterile field

Crash cart management

Aseptic technique

Instrumentation and equipment documentation

Assist in trauma and hybrid OR environments

Instrument reprocessing for cardiovascular/thoracic cases

Patient Population:

Adults and Geriatrics

Orientation:

80 hours total orientation

Compensation:

Gross Weekly Pay: $2,377.00

W2: $25.00/hr

Total Weekly Stipend: $1,477.00

• Experience: Minimum 5 years total CST experience. Minimum 2 years dedicated cardiac and vascular experience. Minimum 1 year CVOR experience. Minimum 1 year Level I Trauma experience.
• Required Skills: Scrub experience required; CVOR procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, VAD procedures; thoracic and vascular procedures; aseptic technique; crash cart; instrumentation documentation; cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing.
• Certification: BLS required.
• Charting System: Epic.
• Call: Required; weekend coverage as needed.
• Scheduling: 3x12 Nights (18:30–07:00); no block scheduling; no 10-hour shifts.
• RTO: Must be submitted with application and built into contract.
• Compliance: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start. Ohio fingerprinting required immediately after signing.
• Locals: Accepted at same rate.
• Vaccine: Flu required (medical exemptions only); COVID not required.
