A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Curtainwall Consultant where your expertise will drive the design, engineering, and implementation of high-performance curtain wall systems at their Bay Area or Orange County, CA location. You’ll play a key role in delivering innovative, customized solutions that enhance building aesthetics and meet stringent industry standards.
Your Day Includes
- Leading the design and technical development of custom curtain wall systems.
- Ensuring project compliance with NFRC, ICC, and other relevant codes for structural and thermal performance
- Conducting site assessments, overseeing installation details, and providing on-site support as needed to ensure precision and quality
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and internal teams to translate project requirements into technical specifications
- Conducting AIA-certified educational seminars and staying current on curtain wall innovations and best practices
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 10+ years of focused experience in curtain wall design and consulting
- In-depth knowledge of curtain wall systems, NFRC/ICC compliance, and strong project management skills
